In February 2002 Lou
Gardella founded North Coast Odonata (NCO) with the purpose of
bringing individuals together that have an interest in the
study and conservation of Odonata. Inspired by his membership
and participation in
The Ohio Odonata Society, Lou initiated
the North Coast Odonata Survey (NCOS) to acquire further
statistical abundance and distribution information about the
order Odonata in the Northern Ohio region.
The North Coast Odonata Survey is an ongoing project that
relies on data submitted by volunteers. All input and contributions
